Before then we have more clouds today with highs reaching near 60. We should stay dry as a trough in the jet stream swings over the area creating enough uplift for clouds, but there’s not enough moisture for precip.

Tonight we see skies clear up and lows are down to 37. Highs Friday reach the upper 50s with mostly sunny skies.

The low moves into Georgia Sunday morning and brings the potential of freezing rain for the morning hours. Then a wintry mix of sleet, snow, and freezing rain is possible for the mid morning hours. It transitions to heavy rain by the afternoon as highs reach the low 40s. Winds are going to be strong with gusts up to 35mph. I’ve bumped up the chance of precip to 90% and around 1 to 2.25″ is possible with this very wet system.
